Farm Animal Medicine and Surgery
The Farm Animal Medicine and Surgery Service at our university is committed to advancing the health, productivity, and welfare of livestock through expert, evidence-based veterinary care. Our team of experienced, board-certified clinicians brings extensive knowledge in production medicine, surgery, and herd health management. We are experienced in managing a wide array of conditions affecting pigs, as well as both small and large ruminants. Whether addressing individual animal cases or complex herd health challenges, we provide comprehensive medical and surgical care grounded in the latest research and industry best practices.
Ambulatory Service
The Large Animal Ambulatory Service brings high-quality veterinary care directly to farms, stables or facilities. Our experienced large animal clinicians, supported by senior veterinary students and skilled staff, provide comprehensive care for horses, cattle, sheep, goats, pigs, and any other large animal or food animal friends you may have . We offer a broad range of services designed to support the health, well-being and productivity of animals and herds. Services include routine and preventive health care, herd and flock health management, diagnostic evaluations, treatment of medical conditions, and minor surgical procedures.
